Description

This one took quite awhile... not because it was extremely difficult or anything... but because we are putting up a new living room ceiling... and I am the designated "tile cutter". Every time I try to sneak away to the computer room, I hear, "Yo!! We need some more tiles in here!" But I do manage to view everyone's beautiful uploads before I drag my sorry carcass back to the workbench. I'm thinking of starting a union, cuz all this work for no pay doesn't seem like a fair agreement... lol!

Ultra Fractal... with frame and sig in PSP. The background was created using Damien Jones' Nova(Mandelbrot)+fBm and the Stretch'n Squeeze ufx by Red Williams. (My thanks to CavalierLady for shedding light on this effect.) Leaves are courtesy of Mark Townsend's Attractor Julia ufm and his Iterated Function Systems ucl. The roses were made with the Mighty Atom Julia ufm by Toby Marshall and Dennis Magar's Thingamajigs ucl.

Many thanks to all the formula writers and to you guys for your views and gracious feedback on my previous images. Thanks a bunch for having a peek at this! "Yo!! We need more tiles in here!" (Uh-oh... gotta run!) ;) Hugs! Helen

A rose by any other name.... I love your roses and you did them in my favorite color! This is a wonderfully done image, even though you had a difficult time trying to do it between tiles. Oh by the way when you finish the tiles, you can teach me UF you seem to have mastered that too!!! LOL :) ;P

Amazing! Hard to believe those roses aren't for real. I've got a photo of a rose on my wall that looks just like that. And those leaves! (gotta try that sometime). Good luck on your tiling!

Wondrously soft beauty with reds and greens of life on the very brink of the canyon where this life would suffer extinction. The survival of beauty against all odds! So much skill-breathtakingly rendered,my Beauty! Louy

Wow, I don't know what else to say. You always manage to overwhelm me with your imagination, talent, and passion for this art. Not bad for an overworked tile cutter, it doesn't get any better than this.
