Description
Get ready for a mess o' owl pix, folks, because I've finally seen my first Western Burrowing Owl. This lil' darlin' is no more than 20cm tall, and she had chosen a home at the edge of a golf course! There are no more than a hundred pairs left in Santa Clara county; habitat loss has cost them their nest sites.
