I have just bought fuji s7000,these camera's take very good macro pictures. not had the chance to shoot any insects yet though,this is a great shot wonderful colours.

Yes, super macro! I have a few questions: how did you get the pretty rainbow colors in the back? Post work? I have macro filters that total together is +7. I don't think it seems this close up. Did you bring it up closer w/software?

Hello :) I made this photo with my 'self-made' macro tube (I used lens from my old binoculars - I attached them together - sticked to plastic tube...) so I don't know how much it can zoom... In postwork I have just removed noise, sharpned and nothing else... The background look like this because of DOF I think... Thank you for your comments :)

Pretty amazing given it is your own creation the colours are due to the chromatic problems from the glass nevertheless the purple fringes dont detract from the great detail you managed to get Bravo on your creativity
