Hi, I'm Kelly a.k.a. J'Karrah EbonDragon. Welcome to my gallery. As you can see here or if you visit my website EbonDragonArt.com I am somewhat obsessed with Dragons. Why? Because they are wondrous, fascinating creatures. Dragons are what inspire me and so Dragon are what I draw.
If you would be interested in purchasing prints or other items featuring my Dragons, please visit my Online StoreBIOI first started drawing Dragons back in September of 2000 after stumbling across an online tutorial. Once I started getting what I considered reasonably decent at it, I began trying my hand a coloring them in Photoshop 4.0.
I must say those early efforts were more than a little... rough. But I stuck to it and as Photoshop progressed and improved, so did I. Heck... I'm even slowly getting to where I don't feel guilty or presumptious calling myself an artist, even if I do realize I still have so much to learn.
I've been told that my style is unique with bright, vivid colors, which is something I've always strived for. I have been criticized by some for not drawing subjects other than Dragons, but hey... everyone is entitled to their opinions!
I have found that in my art, as with other aspects of my life, I have to be interested in something before I can do anything with it.
I like Dragons. I am fascinated by them and so that is what I draw. Maybe one day I'll find something else that inspires me they way Dragons do and expand my work to include other critters or themes. But for now I'm happy to stick with my Dragons and hope they bring a little bit of pleasure to those who view them.
