Description

This is an image that did not turn out as I had originally intended. At first I wanted that belcony to be indoors, with carpet, but decided agianst it for reasons I am still not certain on. As you can probably tell it is largely inspired by the Thief video game series. I had tried for lighting even more stark, but then the even now barely noticable thief in the shadow was completely invisible. I think the only things that did not change from original intent was the perspective, and the set as far as architecture goes. All in all I had fun with this one, and I hope you enjoy. The set is modeled in wings, and textured in bryce. Mike 2.0 by Daz, as well as the period clothing, and spaulders from the 15th century suit of armor. Beard mappak from daz as are the morphing boots. Belts, scabbards, swords, coif (kind of crappy I know) are my own models. Gloves are RTproductions. Thanks for viewing. Cheers.

Great render - impressive textures/poses/lighting - best of all is the one thing that didn't change - the POV. Many of my stuff changes from concept to production, but this came out great. I can't see the thief at all - until I up the gamma - but don't change that - it's great. Really good work and the coif is fine. Great image - great work!!!

This screamed Thief the moment I saw it, so mission accomplished on that front ;) It looks really good, and makes me want to go play Thief again (or at least a Mage/Thief in D&D hint hint) ;) Well drawn, well done, and great picture!

Your lighting is some of the best I've seen! One of the things I love the most that you do is your amazing POV's. You really have an eye for catching the most interesting an draumatic points in your image. The modelled balcony is fantastic! I can't believe you are getting that good at modelling in Wings. I am soooooooo looking forward to working with you. I only hope that I live up to your expectations :) vote
