Description
Why do I prefer to make desert scenes over, say grassy ones? I feel that Terragen is limited in depicting realism with greenery and does better with earth tones. But it's just my preference.
Terrain is World Machine - Thanks for looking in!

If TG holds true to its promise; you'll soon have the ability to do commendable work on all aspects of nature. Another fine piece of work Rich!
prutzworks
great depth & colors

you are right! the difficult imho is that terragen give a lot in presence of granular surfaces; the grass instead has a filiform structure that doesnt merge well with the terrain infrastructure of the program. Anyway Excellent rocky surfacing and sky!

Yeah...O.K. ...I'll buy that excuse...hey, maybe I'll use it too :)...except I cover some of the dirt with water. Its still strange that your images seem more desolate than other TG manipulators.

Hmm - I love greens in terragen, and I think that they can look good, just depends on your capabilities, my friend ;-) Well, when using overlays, some greens can look quite convincing in my opinion :-)
