Description

My vision of Mt. St. Helen's in the future, as erosion and time, eruption after eruption, takes its toll on such a magnificent volcano! It leaves only 5 peaks standing guard around the center... I decided not to use the Stastistical filter to round off the sharp edges as this would distort my terrain to much... Terrain is 4097 - only post work was a little color correction.

Good WM'ing. Not too sure about where strata on a volcano comes from or the ability of that high snow to cling onto a vertical rock face but those are minimal concerns, what matters here is that you have made a very good-looking render. The surface colour choice, atmosphere and water reflections are all pleasing and tastefully done.

Excellent idea to have eroded that terrain ! Congratulations... Furthermore, your strata are sublime... Congratulations again. Just a little point could be improved IMHO : a bit postprocessing could add a little contrast, because your picture has no very dark tones.

POV and strata are just perfect as is the image as a whole.
