Nice work.Good modeling and design. The backround plate is perfect and really helps to sell it.The only suggestions I have are:Maybe render it with a different filter, some of the edges are very pixalated and rough. The wood texture on the deck seems to low res. and abit blotchy.Overall a very good scene.

Some crit. The wood tex on the deck is a poor one. On the cabinet in front of the fireplace, the texture is repeated too much. Try UV mapping it and applying a wood texture that doesn't tile. IS that a fireplace? I guess not lol. I'd add a small amount of fractal noise to the walls and ceiling for bump. It has sone very nice features. It's just that textures are holding you back from it being truly excellent. Why is one window frame wood and the other one green? That doesn't work. Hope I haven't discouraged you. It could be very good, just needs texture work as I said.

it is very improved from the privious works. the plasma screen need to be more reflection, the handphone and spec need some shadow to bring some realism. but you are one good designer. you really can design a whole set of great living. but only the minor rendering part. the concept and ideas are the first step of creative stage, i believe.well done, buddy!

excellent job rookie. i think you have come a long way. you still have a ways to go but overall, the wierd thing is that in a little less than a week, you can easily see the improvements. keep it up. good idea to put the image in the backround. it helps to sell the scene. The lightng is o.k. but you realy should focus on lighting, and rendering. you need to remember, it's not as simple as adding lights, and adjusting a few things, you also need to adjust your materials as light is rendered by how the surface of an object will look based on your light settings. its a combination of the two. where, how bright, color, shadow parameters all settings to pa attention to with lights, and then pay the same if not more attention to your materials. things like specularity, opacity, bums, displcament, tile, blur, all sorts of things. your skills are moving in the right direction, just keep learning and above all, keep rendering.....
