Both are beautiful; delicate, fragile and yet, bold. It would be very difficult to choose one over the other. #1 I would hang in a main living room or den; #2 in a kitchen or dining room.

I appreciate all the comments. I like the idea of a more non-standard composition like in #1, but on balance I have to agree that this one is more effective at showing off its "charms" :~)

I like the close up of this one, but the 'unbalanced' look of the first one. Maybe you could figure out a way to combine both :) The colors are wonderful.
