This may look like a simple subject but there are many juxtapositions that I like: The squareness of the crop vs. the curve of the arch; the colors of the doors vs. the colors of the cement; and the details above the doors vs. the seemingly nothingness of the walls. I am sure there are more that the trained eye can pick up. Well done.

This is superb. The texture, tone and composition are excellent. The door itself is marvelous and the texture of the stone is exquisite. Well done!

My eye being trained on 3D apps, I'd tend to say excellent textures. In fact, these are excellent textures, even by photography standards. Beautiful capture. I'm slightly perplexed with the framing. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will tell me why I'm wrong.

The warmth of the aged burnished wood against the cold hard stone facade is a stunning architectural contrast! Wonderfully captured with brilliant clarity and color!

All what has said before, and more... it is fantastic, and I love the look of this. (You will always get mixed views on frames, some people like them, and some don't. I don't use them, because no one complains if it has no frame.) :)

Beautiful doorway. Love these old entrances where you have to step down to go in as the pavement and earthworks ouitside have been built up so much over the years.

Beautiful, I agree with Sapphyre net ...some has asked me why I don't use frames ...simply I don't like it and photos in my opinion don't need it !

Beautiful architecture, very well captured by you. It very much looks like a Roman building but I guess it isn't.

Yes, I agree. A more difficult photo than it appears - because I've tried to take these and failed.
