Hi all: I started out as a painter, then switched to digital art after I saw some work in Bryce. Abandoned Bryce more or less when the Poser bug bit. I have always liked more realistic painting. I also have worked as a professional photographer and currently shoot with a Nikon SLR digital camera. What's nice is I could use all my 35 mil lenses with the digital. Happy rendering!! I'm married with two grown daughters and one grandson. Here I am on my new horse, Dylan.

Hi, This is a well set out composition too but the background is a little "busy" taking away from the figures in the front. Just my opinion but otherwise I like this.

Very nicely done!

Very nice...you know I like faeries :) Maybe adjust her dress that is cutting through her knee and I notice it is going through the other character also. Just trying to be helpful Sherrie. All in all...Great image!

I like the concept, but I think you need to get out of the "2d" plane. Try getting some depth to the image, get creative with the camera. With all the characters right in the foreground, it flattens the image out. Also, trying to get some better shadows would help. Keep going, you can never stop learning this stuff. I know I haven't. :)

This is a good start, but I have to agree it's a little busy. I'd like to see things spread out a bit more, instead of all clumped together in the middle of the front. Also, think about what's going on in the scene and how the characters should be interacting. Right now they seem disconnected (possibly because they aren't looking at one another). And you might want to change the standing girl's hair to a darker, less fluorescent green -- it seems a little punk in a forest scene. :-) This is a great start, though! Keep up the good work!
