Description

The view of the night sky in Paradise allows us to see the Hawk Nebula which lies about 100 million light years from Earth and spans about a 100 light years, it is also the Pillar of Creation, the birth place of billions of stars in various stages of formation...BUT... this Pillar is only 50,000 light years from Paradise... By comparison, another Pillar of Creation, The Eagle Nebula also known as M16 lies 6500 light years from Earth and only spans 20 light years.. Created in Sterling...no pp thanks for all the previous comments

Hawk, this is very beautiful! I love it! Isn't M16 also known as 'The Star Nursery"? I used to get the images from the Hubble telescope. Beautiful! Truly a 'Heavenly' sight! Thanks for sharing it! Leanndra
