this was a quick(nearly 2hrs!!) overlay test render,after the advice from haroon and superza(thanx!),so this is what I came up with, I'm gonna have to start searching for some more decent images to tile,btw the terrain is Vue by peten I just inverted it,added some glaciation and height modification in TG!thanks for dropping by :)

Colors are right on with this one. The sky, and sun setting fits perfect to the time of shadowing. Terrain surface and lower layers gives the empty vast wateland look, but the water brings it all together, giving beauty and life to this mesa style work. Vote. Absolutely breathtaking.

Really love the foreground and the texture of the water. I don't understand the terminology but it works for me!!!
