Description

Tranlated, this is called the Angel of Sorrows. The model is Victoria 2 with my magnet work and Sharkey's wings...all else is painted in Painter and Photoshop and lighting and render from Poser Pro Pack. There are so many angels on this dot-com, but I think this one gets the "feel" of a heavenly being praising and mourning simultaneously! Romans 8:26 speaks about groanings or sighings which cannot be uttered, and I think that this image captures both the uprush and and the downflow of that prayer!

I remember the first time I saw this image was on the promo for the 2002 DAZ calendar. Personally, out of all the images that went into that publication, this was my favorite. It's simply amazing how wonderful this piece is, and I am so happy that I was finally able to track down its creator. I would like to thank you for producing the above image; it is truly a work of art!
