Description

An exercise in rendering again. Custom terrain and mats from Lewis Moorcroft's 'dusted'. Custom 'skin' shader also built especially for the model. The image itself is not meant to portray photorealism, more of an illustrative look and feel. Could be the first in a series using this specific mesh... TFV - Comments welcome Thanks Angela

Hmmm...Great modelling as to keep it tame :) The mesh appears to have a Japanese "manga" style to it! Scale: Shes massive!! Toenails need some specular light so they dont look flat. She needs a bath as well can see a fractal texture very slight giving the illusion of unclean..nice touch :) Gorgeous colours on the skin tone for the face & thigh :) I would have worked the hair as well with a texture so as not too look too flat! Image concept is EXCELLENT :) I dont know whetehr you had the camera at a wide POV but if so I think her feet have distorted in size...shes about a size 20 :)I bet she had pimples on her bum when she stood up:) Great works Angela. Sorry if my comments seem harsh...but aimed at being constructive IMO :)) ===Followup==after 1st posting: Check the ankles the fractal is applied to shins & feet yet the ankle mesh has not been assigned. I noticed after a 2nd take, that thre is a line at the top of the right foot:)

Yeh :)- I'm aware of all the little niggles, I know it's not perfect. there are discrepancies here and there - If I was producing this for a client or something then I would have cleaned the model up or airbrushed out the anomalies in post. I was hoping that the image would be viewed in it's entirety, rather than focusing on individual aspects. Has anyone had a problems seeing their own posted images. I can't find my recent post anywhere - the only way I can navigate to it is by clicking the link that is included with every comment notification e-mail. Anyone know how to fix this ?

Member Options - My Gallery dialog is not working ? That's weird, did you try to inform mods/admins ? Back to the point, this is great pic. I love the pose and lighting, and the background is just breath-taking. Congrats, very moody artwork.
