I like the coloring on this one for some reason, but the other has a great resemblance to the Fremen from Dune.

I like this coloring better too! This is the guy that 'works out' a real lot right? Certainly looks a healthy specimen no flab, bags under eyes or lines on face!. Watch out girls! Matt's been busy at the lab and this one's got X-ray vision as well.!

which one fits better will depend on the purpose - for pure taste I prefer the first one...

confesses to like both.. this is more haunting, and more of a dreamlike image..as in those dreams you might get when a face appear coming closer and closer.and you cant make out all the details... the other is warmer.. both are equally good..agree with gwfa on depending on the purpose...:)

I can see there is a lot of preference going on here. I think the first one is better. The lighting on the face is more ominous coming from the top making the jaw more threatening as opposed to this one. The color is better too on the first one, more unusual. This one brings out the regular guy in your model which makes it more friendly. If this were to be a poster for, lets say, Terminator then the answer would be clear. gwfa makes the best point here. Very hard to say. Both are great, but different. I don't know how much more human he is here though. I love the mood and lighting of this one, but the other had more impact for me.

this one is my favorite because the light shines better from one side and the sinister and surreal eyes have a better effect! the other one is more demonlike! ;o)

i like the first better, the squarer & darker shadowed face, the eyes look more real in an unreal way... this one reminds me of the Hulk :]

As they are so different in mood I don't think I could compare them. Both are fantastic. Both are very pro looking. You should get him to start a singing career, for he's got the CD covers ready and it would be a damn shame to waste them :D
