ive seen quite a few photos of this sculpture.... but one thing that I notice about yours is that the orange is much more vivid. Great job in the tonality dept!!!!!

I like this shot: the contrast of the orange and the blue, the branches framing the subject from the sides, the building in the back, the overall colors and sharpness. Great capture. As for the Christo/Jeanne-Claude Gates themselves, they looks like laundry day at the budhist temple.

I've always enjoyed Christo very much. I heard about this on the radio but this is my first viewing. I think it's beautiful and you've captured it well. I heard there was a bit of controversy over the work. I guess that's typical of both Christo and New York!

thanks for the comments. the only postwork on this shot was cropping out the hundreds of people at the bottom, (being pretty much a misanthrope), and brightness and contrast. this image points out as DeviousMoose noticed my Canon G5 has a sensitivity to orange in that it seems to increase the saturation of orange. I think I'll raise this question in the photo forum.
