Description

Hey guys I'm still working on this glass texture. I'm not happy with the specular highlights. Any one have any ideas? Cheers Dan

Hey excellent work.Nice lighting, great caustics. As to the specular highlights I'd say if you're looking for a brighter and crisper highlight.Turn the specular level on your glass material up to like 200 - 300 ,maybe even alittle higher, and change the gloss level to something like 60 - 80.This should give you a very crisp bright highlight.Something like a chrome material would have. You'll have to play with the settings abit until you get what you're looking for.Excellent work.

nice Dan. to me the spec looks a bit out of place, whole image is sort of greenish, and the spec is white, maybe u could add one or two extra lights that would do only spec and would be sort of greenish too. Are u going to write a tutorial on this one? i would like to learn a bit more on mental ray and staff. thanks
