this is a good scene that with a little bit of work can be a great scene. What needs work? Narrative-- what is this place, and what is the character doing? Some kind of pagan temple, by the looks of it. . .maybe he could be preparing a sacrifice, or lighting a fire, or something. Textures-- the diffuse maps are good, and detailed, but specular maps and bump maps will bring this up a level in terms of realism. Lighting-- the lighting is too even. . .you might try using Lightracer for this scene and seeing what Max's radiosity will do for you; my guess is that it will be much more dramatic. Lighting that is even over an entire scene doesn't draw your eyes to any point, and so there's little drama.
