FE. Can anyone tell me why I get contour lines on some of my fe images?

I like the contour lines! They add a interesting texture. My guess would be color density or depth, based on my experience with Ultra Fractal (I have no experience with FE).

I couldn't tell you without seeing the source code, but it's certainly something in the underlying math. This is really nice. I love this palette.

A great image Jenny, love the colors...usually the contour lines do not show up in the smaller image before rendering, for example, if you are working in say 320x240, and then render at 1600x1200 or higher then the rendering brings out the contours....I always enjoy the way it enhances the texture...
