About the TITLE: In this part of Western-Europe we have a very well known real American hero, who is on the right side of the law.... No,no, this is not about George Bush, nor about John Wayne! I'm talking about a comic-book-hero: Lucky Luke (the man that draws and shoots faster than his own shadow...). There are over 30 comic-book titels, and every book ends with a scene in which our hero rides his horse Jolly Jumper during sunset, while he's singing: "I'm A Poor Lonelysome Cowboy, And A Far Way From Home...."
About the PICTURE: During one of my walks last October I found this little 'fellow', and somehow it reminded me of above mentioned song. Nothing crazier than a (my)human mind...

Perfect compo!!! Love those mushrooms...for display that is, not for dinner...bla bla bla..the contrast between the red mushroom and that green moss is striking. Well seen!!! Have a great weekend #:O)

fly agraric, used since ancient times for 'journeying'. considered by some to be the inspiration for alice in wonderland, and you don't get much 'trippier'. oh, and word of warning very poisonous! excellent capture.
