Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

I find the whole "lava series" a fantastic series of foto,s It expresses the power of mother earth, the dark grey colouring with some glow of red tells us very well that the stuff we see is hot, very hot. thanks for sharring!!

ebsmooth...I don't know temperature wise, but it was very hot. I could see thru a crack under me that there was red lava and you could definitely feel the heat. I think if I stayed there any longer, I'd be buying new hiking shoes. Aloha

Sharky, it is always a pleasure to look at your "hot" pictures when sitting in cold Europe. More of it, I love the red light underneath, you feel the heat, just by looking at it. Great serial!
