Poser / Cinema 4D / minor texture corrections in Photoshop.
An entry in Animotions' recent "Gather The Forces" contest. Sadly, not a winner, but now that the contest is over I thought I'd share it here.

Ummm . . . he's being environmentally conscious and recylcing old art board? Just a little artistic license there -- I couldn't come with another way of showing that he was actually drawing something, and comics in particular, from the angle I had picked.

Actually a number of artists do sketches and what not on the back of their ART boards.
