Description

It's been unusually cold and winterlike lately in my country, so this far, spring is only a dream, but one that you can realise in Vue... Tech notes: Vue, Poser, XFrog & Photoshop. Postwork limited more or less to colour/levels correction. BUT a lot of "pre-work" was involved : Most texures - except Kozaburo hair on the Poser figure, and flowers from Toucan - are by me, incl. modified Vue "Cherry Blossoms". The "spring beech" texture is handpainted in Photoshop. Grass groundcover made with my layered "tutorial" terrain technique, I used a similar approach to make the hedge (seveal "layered" box primitives). Absolutely stunning and beautiful! I need to learn how to do grass layers and such! Such a beautiful scene and it's all done so well! You put alot of work into this and it really shows! Excellent work!

I agree with Pierre on the painted feel here! Incredible work here from pre- to post-...'-)! And the cityscape in the background is a very nice touch adding great depth to an already gorgeous piece of rendering!
