Description

Yeah, the day is here. We are allowed to show some images we have done with Infinite. Here i tried to find a limit for an Ecosystem. Not really there. Incredible what you can do, even when you don't see it all here. But i am sure, there will be some other ones soon coming up that will amaze you a little. Here i had 25725 RDNA trees (3 species) on the foreground mountain, 88816 ones on the background one. Unbelivable to me still. And 1120 houses (5 different houses used) in the valley. Around 4.5 billion polygons. No problem to deal with it. Scene setting on my old Mac, G4 with only 768 MHz and 1 GB RAM. Rendered in Superiour on a 3 MHz Windows box, 1 GB Ram as well. Took a while to render but not as bad as you expect it. Who is who here? RDNA Old Wood trees; Rodlucs castle Neuschwanstein; village: Zippy here from free stuff. Blur is done in Photoshop.

LOL Walther i was soo curious to see this image! Still incredible for me too - all these trees and houses. But have you ever been in Bavaria? Around Neuschwanstein you will hardly find pine trees. Excellent image nevertheless!

Amazing! I am truly awed at the capabilities of the ecosystem. My first question was will it work with imported objects, but you have answered that! Thank you for sharing this one!
