Description

- Scotland, Dalmally - What else could I do on a rainy sunday? I visited churches and graveyards! LOL This is the Glenorchy Curch in Dalmally. The contrastful white building is not to be surveyed in this landscape. It was build in the fashionable Gothic Revival style and the result is an outstanding building of great architectural interest. The main building is octagonal in design with a fine tower. The building has a lovely setting overlooking the River Orchy with views to Ben Cruachan (with the dam I posted) and Ben Lui. A rainy day, in scotland? Isn't that slightly superfluous? ;) But seriously, this shot is very nice, the contrast added by the dark tree to the left gives the shot a slightly dark atmosphere, and allows us to appreciate the gothic styling. Very nice work, thanks for sharing with us all!
