I saw this strange flower and tool a pic.. If anyone knows what it is let me know.

Don't know what it is but it certainly is stunning and delicate. Looks like it is glowing.

It's a calliandra, a leguminaecea, in the same family as acassia (wattle) It's a bit past it's prime, the flowers come out daily, usually at dusk or very early morning. Birds love them. You can see a fresh flower in my gallery. I have them in my garden, not doing too well at present, getting drowned in the rain from cyclone Ingrid. Keep on taking good pics. brava.
