not sure about the bricks - this appears to be the melting faces of mourners in the rain, fishnet veils on white faces, fluid with despair and not yet finding hope - perfect for greyscale

I see the many veiled and grieving mourners too. I feel saddened by what is shown as insurmountable, portrayed by the brickwork. I have stared at this for a long time. I think it a very moving image.

At first I saw a fantastic snakeskin like texture. Reading the comments and looking back and yes, I see the haunting eyes. Certainly a very powerful image, whatever you see in it.
