Description

Bit of an experiment, just trying some new painting techniques! Victoria 3 rendered in Poser 4, postwork in Photoshop 6. Character is Sam from Time Prisoners 2. The hair, clothing and armour are postwork (the exception being the chain parts from TP2). Sword is a freestuff item by 3DMost The background and orcs are also painted freehand in Photoshop. I am completely blown away by this image! The details and the epic scale is amazing looking. I could see this as a book cover a fantasy book. Magnificent artwork!!!

LOL, I like pixel's comment about this being "sick"; it makes me sick to think about your postwork skills. ;) I honestly couldn't tell which elements were painted and which were 3D meshes, which proves just how good your painting really is. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Excellent scene. I think that Poser is the thing you've used less to do this image but nonetheless is brilliantly done. Beautiful character, pose and expression. The clothes are some of the most real I've ever seen and her hair is awesome. That horde of orcs is wonderful too. Vote.
