It looks like Soho, Cheapside or Portabello Road as described in Dickens or "Jekyll and Hyde". Definitely not Trafalgar square, a modern beeping and honking place. I picture myself a pilgrim and the temptation is to intercede in minor scuffles by couples only harassing each other. The conscience evaluates the cheapness of each conquest and each championship while equating violence prescribed in cure as good. How easy to delay the coming to the end it seems while it is rushing to meet us. The road is shrinking.

What a hauntingly beautiful photo! Love the lightness of it, really gives it an other worldly look, and the lady with the umbrella and the person with the black cape are perfect. Fantastic work!
