Description

I've been working on different layout for the completed comic book in my Quark Design class at college. When it's finished I'll be selling it at Cafe Press along with T-shirts, mugs and other stuff that have scenes of the comic. You can find them at: http://www.cafepress.com/writernightmare if you want to catch up on the beginning they're in this gallery or on my web page: http://argon.glittzzzy.topcities.com/web/pan/nightmare1.htm I took some advice from Meredith and changed the font to a more readable san serif 1, I hope that helps. I tried to take AB's advice but it didn't work since when I tried to use a higher resolution image so that the chat balloons didn't take upas much space, I had to compress it so much to fit the upload requirements it got too garbled.

I agree with the last line, its all relative. We shouldnt view a world as real or false, mearly realer and falser. There may be "realer" worlds above this one, for all we know. Or things we percieve as less real, like dreams, may be just as real when your in them... Anyway, nice work!

Dear Peter, At least on my monitor, I think the font change is a little easier to read. I hope someone else will tell you about how it appears on theirs. I sympathize with the difficulty of getting the text boxes into the scene. Whether it's a single panel cartoon, or an epic saga, I'm always amazed at how they get squeezed in. I'd swear that in some cases, they did the text first and then built the scene around the words. AND WOW can I ever understand that last panel "But meeting people I thought I made up" I had enough problems with Digital getting out of her server - now Roger and Jocelyn sort of come and go as they please, also. This whole thing is beginning to remind me of "Toontown" in Roger Rabbit! ;-) Excellent work and you're keeping your action moving forward. I too hope that there is a happing ending in store for our captives! Love, Meredith
