I found this 'lil one in my backyard at 3am yesterday night! Any technical advice, tips and tricks more than welcome and wanted plz, especially since this is the first shot I took of that kind! (nightshot) Thx for viewing! :)

I think you did an excellent job myself. Night shots are different for sure and I am still learning through the advice of other rosity folks. I remember being advised to use a tripod at night when possible as it allows more light and slower shutter speed? How am I doing Rosity folks?

he's a fine catch! ribet! haven't tried too much night photography cuz i don't like the flash but have seen some use a flashlight which gives good results, think this turned out, he sparkles! :]

I got some advice for you....GO TO BED!!! Why are you up at that hour young lady? #:op As far as the shot goes its a beauty, one wouldnt even belive its a nightshot unless you had said so. Excellent for a nightshot! The colors are both vibrant and subtle. Detail perfect. Now stop prowling around at night with your camera or the neighbors will call the police!

Hard to give advice on a shot well taken.Might never happen again like this either.One thing that could be done is use a healing brush on the bright flash spots.I tried it and it works nicely.... Ribbet.

Oh man... congratulations on this one Pascale, I know it'd be easier said than done taking a shot like this at night, and the flash didn't bleach everything out either! The highlights from the flash don't even ruin it, they capture its moistness :-)
