Description

This is my last render of this series on St-Helen's. In this one got all the snow shovelled out of the way and made it look as a warm summer day, or at least that is what I was trying to do. The focus was on the cliff and rock surfaces (at least 30 layers !). The vegetation in the plain came out well (I think) but the higher altitude one (on the rocky cliffs) is not entirely satisfactory...but had no more creative energy left to fix it ! Hope you enjoy this anyway ! TFV&C ! Merci

Agreed - fantastic point of view! Lighting accents the volcano's flanks superbly - Most likely the best in your series!

Excellent work paul, I like the POV you have chosen. The right amount of haze and the size of the terrain adds excellent depth to this. I think this is one of those renders that could work better in a portrait format. Just my opinion.

Congratulations for bringing an original pov to this popular subject. I love the varied greens on the plains and the fantastic rock, etc., surfaces. Natural in all aspects. This is a winner!!!
