In summer 2001 Giancarlo and me went together for the first time in Camargue (South of France). The discovery of this region was an enchantment. A reach land, wild, a generous Nature. It is a place which we adored. And for photography it is the paradise ! The Pink flamingos of this Ornithological Park are certainly what attracts the most world, because all in this immense park is done for the observation of birds and animals. We passed entirety days there, to make a photographic hunting. I don't know if you already found yourselves in front of a colony of pink flamingos... but they are extremely funny birds, very noisy, one would say that they are always spirit to dispute. And on this photograph, it can be a true domestic fight !!! Create in 1970 and managed by a foundation, the Regional Park carries out a general activity of protection of spaces and species and of support for the traditional economic activities. It includes 86.300 hectares. This park allows the discovery of fauna and the flora of the Camargue which is very rich. The National Reserve of the Camargue was founded in 1927 by the national company of nature conservancy. Classified Natural Reserve in 1975. These efforts of protection are justified by the fact that the Camargue is a true animal paradise, in particular for the birds. More than 300 species were listed there.
