Description
This is the first Bald Eagle I have ever had a chance to photograph in the wild. I went into a panic mode but was able to get some shots that I will keep. I have a couple I will be posting over the next couple of days. These shots were taken with a 100/400mm lense handheld. Believe me...I will never leave my tripod at home again. Hope you enjoy and comments welcome.

Good for you!! What a scoop... and sooooo true about the ole tripod too.. How many times do we remind ourselves and not listen.. ;) He looks great against that setting too.
