Description

What we once had is now gone, torn down by someone who thinks our culture does not belong....he is wrong. We have shown we are stronger than before and only GOD will decide who does and does not belong. - I think if we rebuild these towers they should be the same style as before only taller than before....say tall enough to be the new tallest buildings in the world. The office space is needed isn't it? Would it sooth the New Yorker's eye sore some? It can have a memorial outside inside or both and it could be a memorial because you would be able to see them from much further away. - Image resolution is 8192 D.P.I. Don't know how it prints though. This is the original size. I actually did do something to this image. If anyone else has any or knows where I can find some large clear pics of the towers before 9-11 that I can use could you tell me where or send them? I want to do something much like I did here. I want be able to post a few different angles without anything like text obstructing the view. In my eyes these people did not die in vane, they died to unite the world. They would want us to continue to live as free as before I'm sure....

I hate to leave such a beautiful image without a comment, yet there is so much to say I'm afraid I'll just ramble. I do hope that some magnificent structure will be rebuilt, that New York doesn't pull a "Kansas City" and just turn the site into a park. Yet I fear the buildings could not be made much taller and retain this same style -- maybe LCGuy could give us an authoritative answer?

I agree with RealityCheck...although maybe the emplacement of Exocet missile batteries on the roof might be an idea...........

Sounds like you may be right. I understand three new buildings, the tallest even taller, the shortest being the same height as the Empire State Building, will go up in its place. Perhaps that is the best memorial of all.
