Description
This was inspired by a story a friend of mine in Europe once told me about years back. He had an Italian girlfriend named...who strangely enough had that "mystic smile" down pat. Anyway, when it came time for him to propose to her, all she would answer him for months on end was that microsmile. In the end, he got the answer out of her in the most interesting way: he played the Nat King Cole version of the song for her, which she never heard before. That smile became the word "Yes."
I hadn't really remembered the story until recently, when I ran across a new rendition of the song. My friend and his wife have since had twin girls with the names of...you guessed it, Mona and Lisa.
