So Im a big Depeche Mode nerd, sue me. This pic just makes me think of this song. Its been perpetually running thru my head since its conception. Its making me a bit crazy.... well, more than I already am. :-D
I did this one a couple days ago and didnt post it coz I wanted to post the dragon LOL. This one is a pretty big deal coz the hair actually came out to my liking. Sooo I got a lil cocky (confucious say, man with hole in pocket, feel cocky LOL sorry) and painted the dress too (the top of it is actually over something else I had rendered it with, but the bottom is completely freehand) I also painted the gold trim, the chain on the dress... and made little jewels for the end of the chain. I also painted his bracers and added little silver studs. It is taking me dreadfully longer to do these now. The one Im doing now is wayyyyyyy worse... I spent like 2-3 hrs on the postwork alone... including highlighting every single scale on the damn dragon (but the tex looks better to me now) But damn... I outdid myself on it. hehehee Too bad no one will see til next month :insert gratuitous tease here:
Its Friday!!! Woohooo... which doesnt mean much to me coz.... I am on spring break!!!!!!!!! (LOL How much longer can my mentioning it go on?) But I am sure everyone is happy its the weekend... so Happy weekend all!!! xoxox

WoW! You really outdid yourself on this gorgeous image! WoW! The cloth, hair, and trim came out so superb, I am baffled! I can truly appreciate it as I know how long it can take to do this! Awesome chracters and setting, love that prop in the back...awesome! I am truly impressed with how this image came out!! Keep up the fantastic work! As for Depeche Mode, I've been listening to that 4 CD Remix set lately...it's so cool! Superb art work!!! V

I am a great fan of Depeche Mode! Got hooked on them back in the 80's! On a singles tape was a B side instrumental by them called Mephisto...never able to find it again...let me know where if you have it! This is a breathtakingly beautiful image of divine emotion!
