my friend told me these houses werent maintained as they belonged to jewish people before the ww2.

One should open a manhole cover to look for the Jews of Warsaw. The story of Grozney in Chechnya updated the resistance. There is an air of nonchallance to exploitation here with the perfect maintenance of the lower commercial floor. Definitely no refusedniks living there.
