I basically love all these new styles and textures...but the shiny/grainy/translucent effect on the whites, pinks and at dead center kinda gives me the creeps; it reminds me of a certain type of cheap, flexible molded plastic, esp. since the 3D quality is so convincing. I wish it evoked something more in keeping with the gloriousness of the design! (Sorry to actually have a negative critique....don't think I've ever seen one here before...is it taboo?) Encrypted is the only Renderosity artist I ever check out...and I never miss a posting, so be assured that I am another one of his fervent admirers!

I find the sharp contrasting colors bring this julia out to show its detail in fine resolution. I find the outlying colors more closely resemble an ice formation and the centerpiece more of an ore containing gold and copper deposits. The textures intensify the effects of depth and feel. Overall, I think it was well composed and very well displayed.

One of my favorites of yours. beautiful colors and wonderful clarity and sharpness in the object. I love the contrast of object and field. the white areas look as though it is holding the object. Wonderful
