That angler is ready for the ambush. Sakes! Awesome job on the realism. I love the lighting around it, the eye on the angler is awesome! Sweet Job! Way to go with Z-brush too, Fantastic texturing!

Oh my! That poor little fish! ;) Brilliant! The modelling is of course excellent! What I really like is also this deep sea feeling in this pic!

hmm... the way the little fish is going for the glowing appendix of the big one, then it looks to me like the tables can be easily turned :P flawless! excellent job, sir :)

I really like the murky plankton filled atmosphere. It definately makes me think mesopelagic. So little light penetrates the twilight zone. The deep sea angler is just fantastic. Both fish are, really. The textures are exactly what I would expect from you... Perfect! The creatures really ~shine~ in in a light that only you could have given them. V Janey

I can figure out the angler fish... but not sure what the tiny fish is... and while I do like the awesome eye texture, aren't these guys practically blind because of how far underwater they are? Anyways... brilliant work. This definitely should get submitted for publication.

The texturing is just stunning--you found a way to take a stone-like texture and make it organic!
