Description
The NIKON D70 has arrived! Wish I had some beautiful snow-capped mountains with running stream to take a shot at, but no such thing around here. So, a CAT will have to do :)
But .. Not just ANY cat. This is our Baby Girl. The only female kitty in the house, and a real sweetheart too. She's very petite and feminine and very loving.
I look forward to getting outside and taking some real shots with this new cam of mine. Any hits and tricks and ideas and advice ALL WELCOME!!

So cute, well done ! Glad to see FedEx was right in time :-p Any tips ? Just have fun with what you do, but as I know you I'm pretty sure you have. Do some series on same still object with different settings and study the result. Don't use cameras builtin standardprogs, learn using av and tv mode first where you have to adjust the blend or shutter time. Try shooting on dark objects and bright objects (i.e. directly to sun) and look how you have to adjust your settings to get it look right. just my 2 cts, cheers chris
