Description

My first attempt at drop-shooting... I did not know it was such a tough job! :) The main problem for this picture (besides timing of course) was light!!! I'd really like to have a better equipement... Anyway, considering my tools, I have to say I'm quite satisfied with the result. :) ...lightning of the scene was obtained with camera flash and a small (almost gone) luminous table that I use as a soft-box. ;)

Sweeeeeet JESUS!!! Your first attempt you say??? IMPRESSIVE!!! This is one perfect shot!!! I love how that drop is a different tone than the water itself, excellent refractions...and its also perfectly round...incredible!!! I have yet to try such difficult photography, i shall stick to shooting dead and non moving objects i think. At least till i gotten a good enough camera...which will not be very soon, since wifey crashed one of our cars last night...sigh...oops, im rambling away again..better stop soon...AMAZING SHOT!!!! Enjoy your weekend!!! #:O)

Somtimes we just gotta make do with what we got. I think the lighting is just right here, makes it more dramtic, brings out the light in the drop. Timing was great here! Great shot!

Perhaps the use of mirrors could help to reflect flash-light. Nevertheless, this is a very beautiful capture, exactly right on time! Excellent work!

Incredible, the drop is perfectly rounded. Looks like an abstract Bryce render. Fantastic!
