BIO
I've been married 17 happy years. I've actually been married 23 yrs, but about 17 have really been happy. =^}
I have twin girls just out of high school.
During the day, I am a Certified Engineer specializing in new construction for my local State Highway Dept. In the evenings I do some web design for the locals : http://www.gratrgraphics.com
I started messing with Terragen, but saw fractals posted and fell in love. Picked up Apophysis and became an immediate addict. The images that I render are a little eclectic, but hey...I like them. Hope y'all do also.
I have also written a tutorial for Apophysis:
Creating and Saving Custom Gradient Packs in Apophysis
You can find it under the Fractal section of the tutorial link at the top of the page or you can view it at it's alternate site:

Grand flowing image! I feel like I am witness to an upfront view of just a bit of a peacock tail as it rose from the deep lush wheat grass. Awesome colors! (=

Gary, this is just KILLER! I love storms...wish I could be standing in the middle of this one (I'm one of those fools who will be struck by lightning one day;). The vibrant colors and dynamic composition really do it for me.

Wonderful image of the forces of nature. Beautiful dynamic colors. I can also see lava flows flowing down a mountain. Hmmm! So early in the morning for a forceful image. Did you sleep well that night? LOL :D Nevermind me! You produced a beaut. Excellent work.

The lighting on this image is so well done! I like the colors and sense of motion. :)

Besides so much movement, I really enjoy the darker colors reaching up through it. Looks like they're trying to keep from getting blow away. Lovely find! V (:
