Description

A look at a place touched by the power of intense heat- that which can boil rock and turn mountains into charred ruin. I experimented with more image and contour overlays on this one; in the past I hadn't relied very much on the TG plugins. Terragen, Photoshop; a TG terrain erroded in Terraformer II, various plugins and some lighter fluid(!) Thanks for taking a look, and leave a comment if you'd like.

Exc lights and terrain, little brick surfaces overlay is a little bit too invasive imho, btw is still a great sci fic image!

I think that the lighter fluid did the trick! I love the color of the light in this. It really looks hot. I don't know anything about overlays or much about Terragen in general, but I find this to be a really great Sci Fi scape...I Like it Alot!!!

Excellent dof and lighting, and I applaud your adventurous work with overlays, to good effect in the fore and mid ground. Great work.
