Description

The original Battlestar Galactica of the 1970s was nothing to write home about in spite of some interesting space vessel models. The new series, on the other hand, airing on your favorite sci-fi cable channel, is another matter entirely and well worth checking out. The bio-cybernetic creatures and ships are pretty compelling. I suggest that if you have the thing already UV mapped, is to get rid of that bumpmapping, and replace it with a boxy kind that follows the lines, but make it less apperent. Also, the model should be darker, it seems too bright.

I think your models are pretty compelling whether they are accurate to the TV show or not, they have a creepy look to them. I am a HUGE fan of the new series and have the latest on the TiVo right now!!! sorry I get pretty exited about it. I would love to have a collection of models from the program but do not have the time or patience to see it through. I made a semi ok one of a viper but it only looked good in the dark. I have plans to do a better job with a Viper now that I am using shade. Maybe we could all get together and share our collective BattleStar models when they are finished? I think this one is great and would love to see your final version. Thanks.

Frankly speaking I am wondering why this one got a 'great' ranking. Modeling is not a one click stuff! For me this is Excellent! well done dude! want to more of your models. :)
