Description
I hope you like this. The Elk did not seem to care that I was there so I got in pretty close to him, like about 30 feet. I started with a photo I took in Yellowstone national park then I used photoshop cs for my name and the edge.

Excellent capture. You must have been up or is that down wind of him because he could have done a lot of damage with those horns had he seen you. Wonderful wildlife photography. Beautiful animal to. :)

Hi wile1 I had a plan of escape incase he got upset. And I'm grateful that I did not have to try the plan. Hi tibet2004uk, when you say "strang cropping" do you mean the green edge or do you mean the placement of the elk within the picture, like there should be more photo avaiable at the bottom?

The composition is different to be sure but look at the comments it received! LOL! Is it my upload or are the colors light??? Interesting picture nonetheless! ;0)

Wow, what a great shot! Our neighbor raises Elk; and I wouldn't dare get inside the fence -- be careful. Their racks are deadly. Love this photo!!!!
