Good start. Some DOF as well as a little more contrast would improve the image more. Try tweaking the texture used on the water to get a better shoreline interaction. And those seagulls need to be spread out a little. Might be good to have a few floating in the water and sitting on the shore you rarely see all in the air and none on the ground.

Excellent render! It looks like there are really waves at the shore. And I don't agree at all with Nicholas86. Your image doesn't need any improvement (his might) but yours don't.

Subject maybe not very inventive, but realization almost perfect (just water bumps could be better - maybe try another water) I saw tons of poor quality beach scenes here - but this one is technically very good one - an example for all fans of tropical beach scenes.

I like it, the rocky shoreline is superb and those trees add lots of realism. Add to that a great sky and some nice water and you have a wonderful tropical scene :-)
