I like so much this photograph that Giancarlo made in 1981, in a field in the plain of his Po river. After a storm of summer, the water droplets form like collars of transparent pearls. It's as if tears had fallen from the sky... Giancarlo always liked the flowers of the fields, those which often people cannot appreciate because they are common. But they are so pretty, they do not need anything nor of anybody. Simply, every year, they emerge from the ground and embellish our landscapes.
