Description

This piece was more or less a test, as I am still not satisfied with the look of my digital paintings, I thought I take a picture from Boris Vallejo as reference to get this natural media feeling right

I think is astouningly brilliant! You have some some serious talent to do this! This piece definitely has some Vallejo-Esque qualities for sure! I'd say you are right on the mark, and I am commpletely impressed with your incredible effects! Super work!

I don't think that this is too much like Boris'. From what I have seen of his work, this is much softer and has much more subtle sensuality. The colors are wonderful, and full of fantasy. You took it past the bar. I see the influence, but I respect the differences.

You my friend are without a doubt talented beyound words, this has to be my favorite so far of your awsome masterpeices. Uwe i love the colors in this, there is something about the Violets that just scream for attention, and the contrast of the yellow oranges in her hair is truly the work of someone who knows how to play colors......You are the best my friend, I would kill for half your talent........Vote Your friend John

The textures and colors are always so stunning with your work. It's soft yet very detailed. So much to see and admire. Fabulous work, always!

I like the softness of the picture -- a nice contrast to the sharp (sometimes too sharp)edges and such of most digital work. While you may have used Vallejo as your model, I think it is a style that you can claim as yours; it certainly doesn't come across as a slavish copy but rather as an original that is yours.

You are too hard on yourself--all your paintings have a "natural media" charm--I can't think of one that looks "digital". I love her delicate wings!

Gosh, Uwe, I would never know if it's something you painted with natural media or with Painter. It still looks fantastic to me.

As I am very frustrated with my art I'll try to understand that someone like you can be too.lol.All melt perfectly together as always but I found a little more softness than your previous work.Or the details are more subtile and give more softness.Your work is still wonderful Uwe.I love that piece alot!v

To give comments on texture is quit hard, the scale is to small ;) I am intrested in the tree texture, it looks in this size more like a sort of skin of something living, not reel bark? Hard to judge. Apart from that, its a fantastic piece. Always hard to judge and comment on a downsized work. Textures are always so delicate. I think youre a wizzard.

Your use of color and light is always stunning and so effective and though this artwork may have been inspired by Boris, it really is more you than you may think, for like all your work, it captures great emotion, tells a story, and always thrills the eye. There is a special softness to this that I like very much. Gorgeous. Vote. :o) CC

Your unique fantastic atmosphere is still there. Less violence and your own painter style is strong here. Perhaps, more light-dark contrast would help you to be a bit more happy. Excellent!!
